On last week's Saturday I attended Chibicon in Helsinki. This was the first time I was wearing brand clothes, that's to say Angelic Pretty blouse and Metamorphose dress! At that time I didn't hadn't received my sweet lolita winter coat (which is overly cute by the way!) so I had to settle for my short and red H&M coat. Actually it fit my outfit better than excpected even if it wasn't very lolita-like. The wig in the pictures below is the one I introduced third in my last month's wig post. After all, a better choice would have been the wig I wore in the dance cover videos as it doesn't shine that much. My bandanna is a bit lame but unfortunately I haven't managed to buy any massive bow headdresses yet. Overall, I was rather satisfied with my outfit.
Coniaamu ei mennyt niin hyvin kuin olisin toivonut. Varasin taas liian vähän aikaa laittautumiseen. Miten meikkaamisessa voi kestää yli tunti, vaikka yrittäisin tehdä sen niin nopeasti kuin osaan? Kävelymatkan aikana sain mukavan vähän tuijotuksia, ja matkan loppupuolisko tuntui siltä kuin olisin kävellyt autiokaupungissa. Pelkäsin, että autot roiskuttaisivat mekkoni täyteen kuraa, mutta onneksi niin ei käynyt. Lopulta oli paikan päällä n. 45 minuuttia myöhässä, joten saavuin paikalle kesken cosplay-kisan. Pääosin con meni uusien ja vanhojen tuttujen kanssa jutellessa. Suuret kiitokset etenkin Serinalle, Sairysille, Dracolle ja Leealle mahtavasta seurasta ^^! Conin parhaita hetkiä oli myös se, kun eräät tytöt tulivat ottamaan minusta kuvaa ja tajusivat minun olevan miespuolinen vasta, kun avasin suuni :D.
The con morning didn't go just as planned. I reserved too little time for makeup once again. How can it take over an hour for me to do my makeup even if I try to do it as fast as I can? It was nice how few people glared at me during the walk, and the last half of the walk felt like walking in a deserted town. I was afraid the mud from cars would make my dress dirty but fortunately that wasn't the case. I ended up being 45 minutes late so I arrived during the cosplay competition. I spent most of the con time talking with old and new friends. Thanks to Serina, Sairys, Draco and Leea for great company! One of the best moments of the con happened as a group of girls came to me wanting to take a picture, and not before I openend my mouth did they realize I was actually a boy :D!
